About the Project
Flip It Homes converted a garage into a modern Coastal-inspired ADU, designed as a guest unit or home office. Layout features include a well-designed kitchen, full bathroom, open living and sleeping area, dedicated workspace, and a delightful outdoor patio with pergola. Our design vision was to create a space that embodies the relaxed elegance of Coastal Style, blending modern convenience with a beachy, airy aesthetic. We focused on maximizing space, natural light, and practicality, ensuring the ADU feels open, inviting, and functional.

Detailed Areas
Kitchen

The kitchen captures the essence of Coastal Style with white cabinetry, rope handles, and a light quartz countertop. Stainless steel appliances and a subway tile backsplash in soft blue add a touch of seaside charm. Open shelving with woven baskets and coastal decor completes the look, making the kitchen both functional and inviting.
Living Area

The living area is a sun-drenched, open space with driftwood-inspired flooring and soft blue walls. A cozy sofa, a bed with crisp white bedding, and large glass doors leading to the patio create a seamless indoor-outdoor flow. A ceiling fan with integrated lighting adds a breezy, beachy touch, while potted plants bring in a sense of nature.
Bathroom

The bathroom is a modern retreat with Coastal influences. It features a single vanity with light wood cabinetry, a chrome faucet, and a glass-enclosed shower. Seafoam green subway tiles evoke the colors of the ocean, while woven baskets and beach-themed decor add to the relaxed, spa-like atmosphere.
Workspace

The dedicated workspace is designed for productivity and inspiration. A light wood desk, a modern chair, and a computer setup are positioned near the glass doors, allowing for plenty of natural light. Potted plants and coastal artwork enhance the space, making it a perfect spot for work or creative projects.
