About the Project
Flip It Homes recently completed a custom home build in Woodland Hills, CA, creating a contemporary modern residence that blends luxurious design with functional living. This project showcases our expertise in crafting bespoke homes tailored to the client’s vision. The home features a large grand room with a modern kitchen, a master suite, two extra bedrooms connected by a Jack-and-Jill bathroom, and an expansive backyard with a stunning outdoor seating area that shines at night, offering a perfect balance of indoor and outdoor living.
The goal was to design a home that combines sleek, modern aesthetics with warm, inviting elements, creating a cohesive and luxurious living environment. We achieved this by integrating clean lines, natural materials, and contemporary fixtures, ensuring the space feels both sophisticated and welcoming. The design emphasizes natural light, open layouts, and seamless indoor-outdoor connectivity, making it an ideal space for daily living, relaxation, and entertaining.
The grand room is the centerpiece of the home, featuring a spacious living area with a large gray sectional sofa, beige pillows, and a modern fire pit table with a glass surround.
A dining area with a wooden table and gray chairs is illuminated by a modern chandelier with gold and white elements, adding a touch of elegance.
A built-in entertainment unit with a TV, fireplace, and shelves provides functionality, while potted plants and artwork, including a neon silhouette, add personality. Large glass doors lead to the backyard, enhancing the indoor-outdoor flow.
The modern kitchen, integrated into the grand room, boasts a mix of dark gray and light wood cabinetry, white countertops, and stainless steel appliances, including a double oven and range. Two modern pendant lights with woven shades illuminate the nightstands. A wooden bench at the foot of the bed and a glass door with black framing leading to the backyard enhance the serene atmosphere, providing a perfect blend of modern design and indoor-outdoor connectivity.
The master bathroom includes a double vanity with light wood cabinetry, a white countertop, and black faucets, along with a glass-enclosed shower with white tiles and a toilet, all accented by modern fixtures and a minimalist design.
Two extra bedrooms are connected by a Jack-and-Jill bathroom, each with light wood flooring and white walls. One bedroom features two single beds with white bedding, a gray shiplap accent wall, and modern furnishings like an orange ottoman and gray pouf, with a large window offering natural light.
The expansive backyard is a highlight of the home, featuring a modern pool with blue lighting that creates a stunning effect at night.
